Jean-Louis Bertrand

Co-Founder / CEO

For 20 years, Jean-Louis has been an expert in climate risk management for businesses. He participated in the Grenelle Environment Forum in 2007, studied the impact of climate on business, and created financial protections against climate hazards. Today, he develops tools to strengthen the resilience of businesses to climate change and ensure employee well-being. Vice-president of the IPCC of Pays de la Loire, member of various professional and academic associations, he holds an engineering degree, an MBA, a PhD in finance, and an ESG-investing certification.

David Kujas

Co-Founder / CEO

Before co-founding Tardigrade-AI, David led Accenture's Agribusiness teams for France and Benelux for 6 years and led the firm's digital activities for 7 years. He founded several startups in consulting, digital and technology and managed an e-commerce site specializing in the distribution of decoration and furniture items. David has multidisciplinary experience in defining digital strategies, IT design of roadmaps and management of major digital programs (e-commerce, content management, community platforms, businesses). He is now CEO of Taridgrade-AI.

Miia Chabot

Co-Founder / Deputy Managing Director for Research

Doctor of Economic Sciences with a Habilitation to Supervise Research, Miia is an economist specializing in the analysis of financial and climate systemic risks. She has around twenty years of experience in research, where she has participated in various projects in collaboration with numerous institutions such as the European Space Agency. A specialist in artificial intelligence tools applied to the programming, processing and analysis of vast quantities of climate and financial data, she also has in-depth expertise in the Bloomberg and Refinitiv-Eikon-Reuters platforms. She has supervised various doctoral theses and is currently an associate researcher at Arts et Métiers.

Valentin Courquin

Intern

After completing a degree in mathematics at the University of Angers, during which he won the François Ducrot Prize, Yann moved towards further studies in data analysis and statistics. By participating in the company's various activities, this internship allowed him to acquire practical skills in the processing and analysis of climate data.
